AfricAid’s Ashley Shuyler Thanks Rotary

AfricAid’s founder Ashley Shuyler, who was officially inducted as an Honorary Member of the Evergreen Rotary Club last January 27, 2006, recently sent this letter of appreciation to our club:

“Thank you so much - not only for giving me the opportunity to share my experiences with you and your club - but for being so wonderfully encouraging and supportive as well.

I cannot begin to tell you how much it means to me to be an honorary member of the Rotary. As I expressed in my presentation, your club has been so important in my life and the life of AfricAid. Ever since the very beginning, you have been there to push me, support me, and help me ensure my dreams with others.

I feel so honored to be part of such a wonderful, kind-hearted and hardworking group of folks.

Additionally, my grandfather was a Rotarian. Being given this amazing gift and honor, therefore means even more to me.”
