Valentine Kits: A Huge Success
February 24th, 2006 | by EvergreenRotary |On behalf of the International Committee, Kimra Perkins and Ben Allen, we wish to thank all of you who participated in “Operation Valentine.” It was an overwhelming success!
While we are still waiting on a few more payments, it appears that we received net proceeds from the sale of about $2,250. With the matching funds from the club’s international committee, we will soon be able to send Dr. Mark Jacobson $4,500 to go towards the new hospital’s construction.
If you are one of the members that still needs to pay, please give me a check at next Friday’s meeting or send it to me. Again, thanks for your participation and your part in making Operation Valentine an overwhelming success! - Curt Harris
