Learn More about the Salvation Army Bell Ringing project As of December 11th, 2006, the Rotary Club of Evergreen has raised a total of $6,887.93 through its Salvation Army Bell Ringing efforts. Combined with the contributions of all participating organizations, the partial total raised by the Evergreen community is $19,388.80.

“This puts us half way to our goal of $40,000,” says Rotary project coordinator Alicia Sexton.

Evergreen Rotary has the reputation of bringing in record amounts for this worthy cause. In 2005, Evergreen Rotarians raised more than $ 10,000 for the Salvation Army, the largest contribution to the cumulative total of more than $37,000 raised in Evergreen. The challenge this year is to exceed last year’s performance. With your help, this will be an easy — and enjoyable — task. So, spread some holiday cheer and sign up now to be a Salvation Army bell ringer.
