Make A Change

I started a fund-raising project, entitled “[tag]Make a Change[/tag],” several months ago and would like to bring it to conclusion, before the new fiscal year begins.

With donations from your “loose change” — you know that stuff in your pocket or purse, in your drawer, in the fruit jar; nickels, dimes, quarters, pennies — a little or a lot, we can put it to good use.

The money will go to a local person(s) or family that has a need at the time of completion of the fund-raising.

Our Evergreen Rotary Club will choose the recipient(s) and distribute the money directly to them… not thru a pass-thru organization.

We need your input and recommendations/referrals of a local/in the area person(s) or family that our change of +/-$1000 will make a change/ difference/ impact on their life.

Please forward to me via e-mail or a written note, the name of the needy person or family and why you think we can help.

The final day for your recommendations will be Friday June 1st.

A small committee (our Rotarians) will meet and review the recommendations and select one or more persons to receive the money. This will be totally an Evergreen Rotary Club humanitarian project.

Thanks to all of your contributions and support.
