As of this morning, we have sold 314 WITW tickets. Thank you to all who are diligently pounding the pavement to raise this money for our foundation! Please keep up the good work in this home stretch.
Last year we raised over $36,000 for local and international charities with this, our only fundraising event.
Last night I was talking with Dick Mund about taking an additional tack at fundraising in relation to WITW. We realized that, especially with Game 3 of the World Series on the 27th, there might be some that will not be able to attend WITW, but will want to support the Foundation financially.
Therefore we have added a “regrets, but I would like to donate” option on the black-tie website.
I encourage all of you to forward to those you know that can not attend but would like to donate $20, $100 or more as a 100% tax deductible charitable contribution. It is easy to do and only takes a minute to complete the form.
