Evergreen Rotary Youth Exchange Program for 2008-2009

Hello once again, fellow Evergreen Rotarians!

I am writing to you this time in my new role as Youth Exchange Officer for the Evergreen Rotary Club. This means that I am responsible for all of the incoming and outgoing Rotary exchange students that our club sponsors every year.

This year, as you might have heard already, we are sponsoring one inbound exchange student, a girl from Denmark. Her name is Charlotte Muller, and she is 16 years old. She will be a Junior at Evergreen High School starting this fall, and we already have our first host family in place, Mark and Anne Vickstrom.

We are looking for two more host families for the winter and spring seasons. And we’d like to perhaps have some new families express some interest, since it seems that the same folks always volunteer every year. It is a wonderful experience, as I know personally from hosting the last two exchange students from our club.

I have a full biography of Charlotte available, and she seems like an extraordinary girl. The host family does not have to in be Rotary, and you do not have to have high school age children, though that would be helpful. Rotary provides an extensive amount of support for this experience.

If you or someone you know might be interested in this great opportunity, please reply back to me and we can discuss what being an exchange student host family really means.

Thank you very much for your consideration!

Hi. I am the Rotary Youth Exchange Officer of District 3860 (Philippines). I also have one outbound applicant who has interest in going to the West Coast. Maybe you can help me accept this young man of 16. I have his full biography as well.

We can likewise arrange for sponsorship an inbound student who like to experience Philippine style. The inbound student will be staying in Tacloban City, Leyte, Philippines.

I will be more than happy if you can help me with mine. Thank you.
