The Rotary Club of Evergreen has a very active environmental program administered by the Community Service Committee's Planet Earth Subcommittee.  In recent years, the focus on this subcommittee has been on sustainable environmental practices, in particular recycling.  The links at the left of this page provide a variety of resources including governmental recycling centers, vendors which accept selected items, charitable organizations that will accept donations of reusable goods, organizations in the community with similar goals; recent articles on recycling topics, a document with hard-to-recycle resources that you can download, and even photo albums of our past recycling events.  Don't see what you need?  Try the Recycling Locator link.

In addition to these year-around resources, the Rotary Club of Evergreen annually sponsors Recycle Roundup as a service to the Evergreen community.   It provides the community with the opportunity to dispose of many hard-to-recycle items conveniently and in an environmentally responsible manner.   Many items are free, but a small fee is charged for others.   The event is held at the Evergreen Country Day School each September and is staffed by Club volunteers.  All proceeds from the event are devoted to the recycling effort.  Donations and volunteers are always welcome.  Watch this site for information about the 2017 event.
