·         Cleaning up our local roadways of trash,

·         Supporting early childhood literacy development through partnerships with Imagination Library, and

·         Providing free Thanksgiving meals for our seniors.

Examples of Vocational Service:

·         Ethics in Business Award,

·         Career Day,

·         Speed Networking,

·         Weekly 2 minute vocational talks by members, and

·         Vocational Month.

Examples of Youth Service:

·         Developing Leadership skills in our high school students through an Interact Club.

Examples of International Service:

·         Island and people of St.Helene, Honduras.  Evergreen Rotarians teach and live with the on the island with residents who survive without electricity, or a full time school and one public well.  Recently, due to Rotary grants a new school was built, and water wells and pumps have been installed.  Electricity is also coming via private funding.

·         Phase 2 of a Water, Sanitation and Hygine project (WASH) and are pursuing a Global Grant to install the distribution system and necessary training.

These are just a few of the many projects pursued by the Evergreen Rotary Club.  We are one of 33,000 clubs in over 200 countries within Rotary International working to make a difference in the lives of people in our communities and all over the world and having fun while doing it.
