Hello,

Whether you are new to our mountain community or a long time resident, I want you to know about the Rotary Club of Evergreen (RCE) and invite you to be my guest at an upcoming meeting.

Our award-winning club is recognized throughout the world as an active, dynamic group of approximately 100 men and women with numerous professional backgrounds who are members because they just want to “do good” in the Evergreen area and the world.  We are proud to be one of 33,000 autonomous clubs in over 200 countries within Rotary International – all of whom use the motto of “Service Above Self.”

The Evergreen Rotary Club is proud to support our community by raising funds through various local activities and events. These funds then benefit many local non-profits and other worthy charitable causes including (but definitely not limited to) Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, the Community Thanksgiving Luncheon, Road Warriors (CDOT's Adopt a Highway Program), RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), Mountain Reads (adult literacy), Diversity Day at Evergreen High School and the Mountain Area Backpack Program.  We also sponsor the annual “Ethics in Business Award.  Our International Service Committee distributed about $15,000 for ten different global projects on three continents.  Our activities included donating 2,400 doses of polio vaccine to Rotary International and our members actively participated in projects in East Africa, Kenya and Guatemala.

If you are looking for a way to “give back,” please be my guest at one of our breakfast meetings.  We meet most Friday mornings, 7:00 am at the Evergreen Country Day School. For program information and many more details about our club, please visit our website (www.evergreenrotary.org) or you are welcome to give me a call at 720-244-3101 or email me at lindalovin@gmail.
Looking forward to seeing you soon,

Linda Lovin, Rotary Club of Evergreen President, 2016 - 2017
