Evergreen Metro District (Water)

Jason S. Stawski, PE will be speaking to us on Friday about the major infrastructure projects of the Evergreen Metropolitan District (EMD) in Evergreen, Colorado. Jason is the General Manager of EMD!  He manages all operations, employees, and business affairs of the District and is charged with the hiring and management of employees and facilities. Prior to joining EMD in 2022, he worked in the field of public works, engineering, and construction. Jason has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Denver and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Colorado.

Jason is active in many professional organizations. He serves as an Officer of the Bear Creek Watershed Association, the Vice President of the Urban Watersheds Research Institute, the Chair of the Hodgson Ditch Company, the Vice Chair of the Soda Lakes Water and Mineral Company, and as the Chair of the Emergency Management Committee for the American Public Works Association.

When not at work, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife (Laura) and two boys (Gabriel and Logan). He coaches high school football at Evergreen High School, loves hiking, skiing, golfing, and other outdoor activities.
