Of course, we're talking about the new fire danger sign along Evergreen Parkway as you drive up the hill from El Rancho. The artfully designed sign was a project of Leadership Evergreen, funded by the Rotary Club of Evergreen. It was recently erected to remind everyone entering our community of the importance of fire safety. For those of us who live in the mountain community, fire safety and condition awareness have become critical to sustaining the lifestyle we have all come to enjoy and treasure.
