Friday, November 16th at The Lake House
This year there will be two sittings: 11.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. Take your pick, but if you need transport, the Seniors’ Resource Center will be providing transport to and from the Lake House for the first, 11.30 a.m. sitting, only.
Both sittings will enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal of turkey with all the trimmings, breads and pies, music and festive cheer.
All Mountain Area seniors are welcome to attend, to bring a friend and to enjoy good companionship.
More than 75 Rotary volunteers will be creating holiday table decorations; baking cookies, breads, pies and other desserts; roasting as many as 30 turkeys; preparing lots of potatoes and other traditional dishes; and serving up a Thanksgiving feast to remember with all the “fixin’s”.
Please RSVP to The Seniors' Resource Center at 303-674-2843 so that we know how many to expect (last year we celebrated Thanksgiving with 225 seniors).
