New Member, Tim Eagan, Organizes Road Clean-up

Evergreen Rotarian, Tim Eagan, was moved to action after recently coming across a an unofficial dumpsite along Squaw Pass Road.  Tim immediately went to work organizing a cleanup party to remove the TVs, couches, rolls of carpet, and other debris that had been illegally dumped in the woods.  His efforts involved making arrangements for a tow truck to remove some of the larger items, as well as pickups and trailers to haul the debris to Clear Creek County's transfer station on Idaho Springs.  He also alerted the media to provide coverage of the cleanup efforts.  Click on the link which follows to read and see Channel 7's coverage of Tim's efforts.  Thanks Tim, we're proud to have you as an Evergreen Rotarian.  Squaw Pass Road Cleanup
